Years ago I got a model of the Roman Colosseum as birthday present.
It is a monster model with lots gladiators, roman soldiers, roman civilians and lions in a 1/72 scale.
It was produced by Atlantic, a company that produced some fantastic models back in the 80s.
Here you can see a scan of the original box:Atlantic went out of business ages ago but I found the picture from the Genie Miniature Page, where you can find more pictures of old Atlantic ranges.
Well, after a country change, a marriage and two kids, I have decided to use the experience I have gained 28 mm miniatures and try to give this old toy the painting treating it deserves.
I have rescued it from my parents' cellar and brought it home. I will wash it, take the remains of glue and old paint away and try to give it a decent paint. Let's how it goes.
